WHAT IS URL FORWARDING?
URL forwarding is the process by which you register a domain name with your provider and then forward the domain to another website of your choice. It means you don’t have to purchase multiple hosting and you can direct multiple domain to your ‘primary domain’ holding your data.
This can be done in two ways:
- Cloaked –visitors will not be aware they have been forwarded. The address in the URL bar will remain the same.
- Uncloaked –the address in the URL bar will change once the visitor has pressed return.
