Problem
When installing an SSL certificate with F5 Firepass, you receive the following error message:
"Your certificate chain cannot be fully verified"
Cause
This error occurs during the installation when one of these statements is true:
- Incorrect intermediate certificate
- Incorrect certificate format
- Incorrect certificate order
Resolution
Ensure that the appropriate intermediate certificates are added in the "Optionally, put your intermediate certificate chain here (in the PEM format)".
Step 1: Obtain the Intermediate CA bundle by contacting one of our account managers
Step 2: Install SSL certificate
Paste the Intermediate CA bundle under "Optionally, put your intermediate certificate chain here (in the PEM format)". If the problem persists, make sure the correct bundle is selected or reverse the order of the certificates.
