Problem
The certificate is shown as "Unknown Certificate" after the installation of an SSL certificate on a WS_FTP server 9.
Cause
The Unknown Certificate issue usually is for Secure FTP servers. The manual add as a trusted certificate is required for the certificate.
Resolution
1. Open the WS FTP client
2. Open Site Manager
3. Click the Edit button
4. In the Site Option window, in the left pane, select Advanced in the menu tree
5. In the Server Type drop-down, choose "FTP/SSL (Auth SSL)" and select ok and connect as normal.
6. A pop-up window with the SSL certificate information will appear. Click OK, this time, to trust this certificate.
7. To prevent the appearance of the pop-up window afterwards, select the Always Trust Certificate in Future Sessions radio button.
